Stal Bergs-Olsson
In 2016, Johan Bergs and Sanna Olsson joined forces and started Stal Bergs-Olsson. The sport and training stable is located in the Netherlands in the town of Vierlingsbeek. Here Johan and Sanna work together to provide the best possible training and schooling of the horses that are entrusted to them or horses they co-own.
Sanna olsson
Sanna Olsson (1989) was born and raised on her family’s farm, just like Johan, and her love for horses grew after she started riding at the age of ten. Sanna developed into a talented young rider and was awarded a medal four times at the national championships. She also represented Sweden at the European Championships in 2010 for Young Riders.
In 2011 she moved to the Netherlands and after gaining experience at a jumping and trading stable she decided to start her own business in 2012. Over the years, Sanna has gained experience up to and including CSI4* – 1.60m level. She is also involved in the training and schooling of young horses on a daily basis and competes with horses for various owners.
Johan Bergs
Johan Bergs (1976) grew up in his parents’ farm. He started riding at the age of ten and gradually decided to turn his hobby into a career. After school, Johan worked at various jumping stables in the Netherlands. He found his way to the stables of Hans Janssen, where he would eventually work for seventeen years.
Johan has produces horses up to 1.40m level, but focused primarily on training young horses. In his career Johan has broken in over a 1000 horses, including Utascha (successful with Eric van der Vleuten sr. and Jeroen Dubbeldam) and Rolette (Olympic horse of Ben Maher). In addition to schooling young horses, Johan also trains and guides various riders.
